Prayer as Acceptance

God's love is steadfast. God made you for a purpose. You are wanted. When you accept Jesus Christ as Lord of your life, God accepts you as part of His family. There is no condemnation in Christ. Acceptance doesn't mean that there is nothing that shouldn't or won't change in you, but your position is not conditional or dependent on where you are at in the moment. You can accept yourself, accept your past, accept forgiveness. He that began the work in you is faithful to complete it.

When you go to God in prayer this week, talk to Him with the assurance that He loves and accepts you. God is faithful, your prayers are heard.

Prayer

Lord, I am so grateful that You accept me the way I am and gave Your Son for my sins so that I may be made new through Him. I accept that I am a sinner and need You. I lay my sins at Your feet and pursue a deeper relationship with You. In Your Son's Holy Name. AMEN.
