Prayer as Praise

When we go to God in prayer, we are entering the courts of the King of the Universe. Almighty God is our Abba Father! By the blood and name of Jesus Christ we have access to The One who made all of creation in its glory and splendor. All things reveal His glory and splendor. Praise Him! God alone is worthy to be praised. All honor, all glory, all majesty, all praise to Our God and Father, hallowed be His name, and the Lord Jesus Christ in whom dwells the fullness of God.

Let every feeling of gratitude, awe, wonder, and appreciation flow out you toward your maker. You cannot overstate the goodness of God. You cannot fathom the limits of His love. You cannot exhaust the richness of His provision. You cannot weight the overwhelming sum of His mercy. You cannot calculate the price He paid for your redemption. God is so good!

As we approach God in prayer this week remember, how has God been good to you? Sing those blessings back to the Father. Join in the song of all creation and sing to The One who holds you in his nail-scarred hands.

For as it is written:

All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name.” Selah Psalm 66:4 ESV

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we praise You with all we have. Thank You for all You have created, all You do for us and for giving Your only Son for us. AMEN.
